Not every fan can make it to the Leisureplex — but that doesn't mean they should miss the game. Our live stream operator brings Meteors hockey to fans watching from home, running the broadcast from puck drop to final buzzer.
What the Role Involves
This is a brand new position for the 2026–27 season, so you'll be helping us build the process from the ground up. Working alongside our play-by-play announcer and Director of Communications & Community Sponsorships, you'll be responsible for getting every home game on screen.
You'll be responsible for:
- Setting up and tearing down streaming equipment before and after games
- Operating OBS to run the live broadcast
- Taking direction from the play-by-play announcer and Director of Communications & Community Sponsorships during the game
- Troubleshooting on the fly as issues come up
- Helping refine the stream setup and process as the season goes on
What We're Looking For
Preferred candidates have some live streaming or general computer experience, but it's not required — we'll train you on OBS and the setup. What matters most is a flexible, patient attitude, since we're working out the kinks as a brand-new position. If you're comfortable staying calm when something doesn't go as planned, you'll fit right in.
