Fort Erie Meteors Sign Forward Jacob Scarpelli

The Fort Erie Meteors are pleased to announce the signing of Jacob Scarpelli (2009), an Oakville, Ontario native, for the 2026-27 season.

Scarpelli joins the Meteors after playing with the Burlington Eagles U18 AAA program. Last season, he also suited up for the Meteors in multiple games as an affiliated player, giving the coaching staff an opportunity to see firsthand what he brings to the lineup.

“We’re excited to officially welcome Jacob to the organization,” said Associate Head Coach Anthony Passero. “Having him with us as an affiliated player last season gave us a great look at his work ethic and character. He’s a player who competes hard every shift and we’re looking forward to seeing his game continue to develop.”

The Meteors are excited to welcome Jacob and his family to Fort Erie and look forward to seeing him in orange and black this season.
